Learning Objectives for Module 1:

At the completion of Module I, the participant should be able to:

  • Understand the classification of dental restorations
  • Identify instruments utilized in restorative dentistry
  • Have a working knowledge of dental anatomy
  • Understand and be able to utilize isolation techniques
  • Understand principles of dental occlusion
  • Have a knowledge of properties and indications for dental amalgam
  • Place Class I, V and II Amalgams
