Ida Rose

Our sincerest thanks to Ida Rose (’99 DDS) for her generous gift establishing a new scholarship in support of underrepresented students in the College of Dentistry.

After receiving her DDS at Iowa in 1999, Dr. Rose completed a one-year general practice residency at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. Driven by her love for children, she then entered Howard University’s pediatric dental program, where she earned her certificate in pediatric dentistry. In 2007, Rose earned her Diplomate status with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

She practices at the Children’s Dental Group in Lithia Springs, GA, as well as serves on staff at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Wellstar. She is the proud mom of Noah and Olivia, enjoys spending time with family and friends, and volunteers in her local church.
