Assist and work with dentists, dental students and dental hygienists.  Provide chairside dental assistance to faculty and graduate dental students in treatment of dental patients. Performs administrative and supervisory duties in the Family Dentistry faculty and student Dental Clinic. May perform chairside duties in assistance of dental students, graduate students and faculty, and carry out all functions which a dental assistant is legally certified to perform. 100% Periodontics Nurse Coordinator (Clinical Care/Specialty Services Supervisor) – Periodontics – Req #71084

Provide supervision and coordination of clinical services to establish a professional and efficient environment for patients undergoing periodontal and implant procedures at the College of Dentistry. This involves working with care providers at various levels of training, including faculty, residents and dental students. Will provide functional supervision and education of support staff and students.
