Independent-Study/Web Course

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most dental professionals are not able to work. The College of Dentistry understands the negative financial impact this has on our Dental alumni and friends. Because of this, we are discounting all Independent Study/Web Courses and offering them to you at an extremely reduced rate. You may register for any College of Dentistry online, recorded course for $5; this reduced registration fee will be available from April 1-May 31, 2020 and is only being charged due to the need for recordkeeping. As a reminder, the Iowa Dental Board lifted the 12-hour limit on self-study courses. The College wanted to do our part to help our alumni and friends during this difficult time. We hope this small gesture helps you and your dental colleagues. Please contact Alumni Relations and Continuing Education Director Amanda Shoemaker at if you have any questions or problems accessing the $5 rate.
