Dr. Al-Salihi received her B.D.S. and M.Sc. in prosthodontics from the University of Baghdad (Iraq). In 2011, she received a certificate in prosthodontics from the University of Michigan. Dr. Al-Salihi was a clinic assistant professor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry from 2013-2016. She joined the UI College of Dentistry Department of Prosthodontics as an assistant professor in 2016.
Dr. Al-Salihi's teaching responsibilities include predoctoral clinical supervision and evaluation of junior dental students in all phases of fixed and removable prosthodontics and patient management. In addition, she serves as a course director for the Fixed Prosthodontics class for the freshman dental students.
Dr. Al-Salihi's clinical activities include the diagnosis and interdisciplinary treatment of the complex restorative patients requiring both fixed, implant-supported, and removable prostheses within the college faculty practice.
Dr. Al-Salihi's research is focused on dental education.
Dr. Al-Slalihi is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics and the Iraqi Dental Association.
