Dr. Srinivasan received her B.D.S. from Ragas Dental College and Hospital in 2004. In 2008, she received her Sc.D. from Boston University. She was a post doctoral research fellow at Boston University from 2008-2009 and then completed a certificate in orthodontics and dento-facial orthopedics from Tufts University in 2012. She joined the University of Iowa College of Dentistry as an assistant professor in the Department of Orthodontics in 2013.
Dr. Srinivasan's research has included elucidating the role of various factors involved in the regulation of angiogenesis in normal and pathological conditions, mediated through vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and its receptor (VEGFR-2).
