The Diversity Program at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry
The University of Iowa has a long-established Educational Opportunity Program that provides financial and counseling services
to students from economically and educationally disadvantaged or culturally different backgrounds and who have special
educational or economic needs.
A summer enrichment program prior to matriculation into the College of Dentistry helps students acclimate to the college. An
orientation to the basic sciences is also provided.
Educational Opportunity Program eligibility must be formally requested and documented by the applicant.
