Local AADR Research Day, March 11, 2008

Students, faculty and staff are invited to submit abstracts for presentation, attend the Research Day activities, and attend the evening reception and awards banquet.  NOTE: D1-D3 classes and clinics will be closed this year.  D4 students that are participating in Research Day, please sign up with Dr. Yvonne Chalkley’s office no later than February 8, 2008.  Dr. Chalkley’s office will then notify course/clinic instructors.

Abstract Submission Deadline: Friday, February 8, 2008

Fill out the Abstract Submission form and submit electronically to Dr. Karin Weber-Gasparoni (karin-weber@uiowa.edu) Abstracts submitted to the 2008 AADR/IADR National meeting, as well as to other 2008 professional/research meetings, are welcome.  In addition, work that is in progress may be presented.

Ed Media Poster Material Submission Deadline: Friday, February 22, 2008

Ed Media requests that the posters for these who will also present their research at the National AADR meeting in Dallas, TX, April 2-5, 2008, be at its most final status.  With spring-break being in the week right after our local AADR meeting and one week prior to the National AADR meeting, there will not be enough time available to make any modifications in the posters.  Thank you for your understanding!  In case of any questions or concerns please contact Jim Herd at 5-7179.

Reception and Awards Banquet Registration Deadline: Friday, February 22, 2008

The reception and awards banquet will begin at 5:30 with a social hour (cash bar) followed by dinner/awards 6:30-8:00 PM at the Marriott in Coralville on March 11, 2008.  Please submit a paper copy of the banquet registration form and fees to Dr. Sherry Timmons, OPRM, DSB 356S.
