Brief Professional Resume:

Dr. Walton joined The University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1983. He is professor in the Department of Endodontics.

Teaching Activities: Dr. Walton is responsible for undergraduate classes in the areas of clinic and seminar instruction in the junior clerkship seminar on pulp response, lecture and laboratory instruction in the freshman oral histology course on pulp/dentin biology and the sophomore preclinical oral pathology course on pulp/periapical pathosis. Dr. Walton also gives postgraduate clinical and didactic instruction, including seminars, orientation; literature reviews and case reviews, as well as proctor cases.

National or International Professional Appointments or Activities: Dr. Walton is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontics, the American Association of Dental Research, the International Association of Dental Research, the American Dental Education Association, the Iowa Association of Endodontists, the International College of Dentists, and the Johnson County Dental Society.
