Clinical Activities: Dr. Southard spends one day per week overseeing the
orthodontic graduate clinic. She also participates in the private practice.
Research Activities: Analysis of longitudinal osseous changes using dental
radiographs, evidence of bone density changes/osteoporosis in alveolar bone. Biology of
tooth movement, orthodontic relapse, adolescent compliance in orthodontics, and
orthodontic treatment outcomes.
