Brief Professional Resume:

Dr. Clancy joined the Air Force as a staff prosthodontist in 1980. In 1984 he went into private practice in Orlando, Florida. In 1986 he joined the faculty at The University of Iowa.

Teaching Responsibilities: Dr. Clancy is co-director of the junior prosthodontic clerkship and he assists with directing the preclinical removable prosthodontic course, the preclinical fixed prosthodontic course, and the prosthodontic graduate program.

Clinical Activities: Dr. Clancy is a participant in the Dental Service Plan.

Research Activities: Dr. Clancy's research includes analysis of physical properties of dental materials, epidemiology and demographics of implant patient populations, and computer-assisted simulations for dental education.

National or International Professional Appointments or Activities: Dr. Clancy is a member of the American Prosthodontic Society, the American College of Prosthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Federation of Prosthodontic Organizations, the University District Dental Society, the Iowa Dental Association, and the Johnson County Dental Society.
