Brief Professional Resume:

Prior to coming to Iowa, Dr. Williamson was in private practice in the Nebraska cities of Lincoln and Plattsmouth. She joined the Department of Endodontics as a clinical instructor in 2003.

Teaching Activities: Dr. Williamson is currently involved with predoctoral teaching in the Sophomore Laboratory and Junior Clinic and is the director of the graduate endodontic program. She is also a facilitator for the second-year case-based learning courses and the first-year problem-based learning courses.

Research Activities: Dr. Williamson is currently involved with research in the area of microbiology and clinical endodontics.

Clinical Activities: Dr. Williamson participates in the faculty practice in the Department of Endodontics.

National or International Professional Appointments or Activities: Dr. Williamson is a member of the American Association of Endodontics (AAE), the American Dental Association, the Nebraska Dental Association, the Lincoln District Dental Association, and the American Dental Education Association (ADEA). She is immediate past-chair of the Endodontic Section of ADEA and chairs the Educational Affairs Committee of AAE.
