Brief Professional Resume:

Mr. Arneson has been employed with The University of Iowa since 1985, serving in the University Business Office (1985-1987) and The University of Iowa College of Medicine (1987-2003). He joined the UI College of Dentistry in 2003 as assistant dean for finance and facilities.

National Activities: Mr. Arneson is a member of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA), the Association of American Medical Colleges Group on Business Affairs, and the Medical Group Management Association.

Responsibilities: Mr. Arneson is responsible for the business and financial administration of the College of Dentistry, overseeing an annual budget of $44 million, with supervisory responsibility for the divisions of Financial Services, Dental Informatics, Dental Human Resources, Dental Facilities Services and Central Dental Supply.
