Brief Professional Resume:

Dr. Huang joined The University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2003 as a full-time clinical assistant professor in the Department of Preventive & Community Dentistry with a secondary appointment in the Department of Prosthodontics. He began his clinical activities in the Department of Prosthodontics in October 2004 and is involved in patient care within the intramural faculty practice with emphasis on the restoration of patients requiring fixed and removable prostheses, as well as implant-supported prostheses. Dr. Huang taught in the Department of Prosthodontics and in the Special Care Clinic from 2003-2005. On July 1, 2005, he became a full-time teaching faculty member in the Department of Prosthodontics.

 

Teaching Responsibilities: Dr. Huang participates in predoctoral teaching, including predoctoral fixed and removable prosthodontic courses, Prosthodontic Junior Clerkship clinics, and graduate prosthodontic curriculum.

 

Clinical Activities: Dr. Huang's clinical activities include patient care within the intramural faculty practice. His practice is limited to prosthodontics.

National or International Professional Appointments or Activities: Dr. Huang is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the American Dental Education Association, and the American Prosthodontic Society.
