Dr. Geneser is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry where he also serves as graduate program director. An Iowa native, Dr. Geneser graduated from dental school at the University of Iowa in 2006. He completed his residency training at St. Joseph Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, and received his certificate in 2008. He worked in a variety of private practice settings until 2011 when he took a full-time appointment as clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Geneser is involved with the teaching activities of both the undergraduate dental students as well as the pediatric dentistry residents.
Dr. Geneser supervises patient care for the undergraduate dental students and the pediatric dentistry residents. Dr. Geneser treats private patients in his faculty practice at the Center for Disabiities and Development.

Dr. Geneser is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Iowa Dental Association. He is also a consultant and diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
