Responsible for performing chairside dental assistance to dental students, graduate students, general practice residents, and staff, to include assisting in Oral Surgery, General Dentistry, Prosthodontics, and the operating room/ambulatory surgery center.  Requires:  Current certificate of registration to practice as a dental assistant issued by Iowa Board of Dental Examiners; current Iowa certificate of proficiency in dental radiography; and successful completion of an ADAA dental assistance program or two years of chairside dental assistant experience assisting in four-handed method of dentistry.   Desirable:  Prosthodontic experience; surgical implant experience; experience working with electronic health records; and experience working with elderly and medically compromised patients.  Apply on-line at:, reference Req #015163.  On Extended Advertising.

 100% Facilities Manager – Support Services-Dental Facilities Services – Req #65122

Under general direction is responsible for the housekeeping, maintenance, equipment repair, and security for the College of Dentistry in the Dental Science Building and the dental mobile units, to include supervision of in-house personnel and coordination with Physical Plant personnel.    Requires:  Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience,  and 3 – 5 years relevant experience in facilities management including the following skillsets:  FACILITIES MANAGEMENT, Premises Operation and Maintenance, Resource Management, Unit/Department Operations Administration, Interpersonal Relationships, and Project Management.  Desirable:  Budgeting, Emergency Management, Healthcare Facilities Management, Negotiating, and Performance Management.  Salary:  $48,671 to commensurate.  For more information and to apply, go to:, reference Req #65122.    Advertising:  09/15/2014 – 09/29/2014.
