Brief Professional Resume:

Prior to joining the College of Dentistry, Dr. Rice practiced oral and maxillofacial surgery in Davenport, Iowa, from 1974-2007. He was an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from 2005-2007 and has been a visiting associate professor in the same department since 2008.

: Dr. Rice is a fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the American College of Dentistry; a diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery; and a member of the American Dental Association, the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, the Midwestern Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Iowa Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Iowa Dental Association, the Scott County Dental Society, and the Pierre Fauchaud Academy.
