Brief Professional Resume:
Dr. Coe joined the University of Iowa Department of Prosthodontics in 2006.
Teaching Activities:
Dr. Coe is the course director for the sophomore fixed prosthodontics II course and also teaches in the
sophomore removable course as well as the implant courses. He is also involved with the junior clerkship.
Clinical Activities:
Dr. Coe provides clinical services to private patients in all phases of prosthdodontics, including fixed,
removable, and implant prosthodontics.
Research Activities
: Dr. Coe's main areas of research include osseointegration of dental implants, correlated cell biology, and tissue engineering.

Dr. Coe is a member of the American Prosthodontic Society, the International/
American Association for Dental Research, the American Dental Education Association, the Iowa Dental Association, the American College of Prosthodontists, the
